Quality control should begin before mass production and continue through incoming materials, production, electrical testing, mechanical inspection, final inspection and shipment release.
Review product architecture, electrical design, plug system, grounding, USB output and manufacturability before release.
Inspect critical plastics, metal parts, PCB assemblies, charging components and packaging materials.
Monitor assembly, soldering, plug mechanism installation, screws, wiring, housing fit and visual quality.
Verify AC continuity, USB output, charging behavior, plug operation, shutters and grounding where applicable.
Check appearance, labels, accessories, packaging, function and critical dimensions before shipment.
Release product only after required inspection and test records meet the approved project criteria.
For OEM and ODM programs, the approved sample is only the starting point. Buyers need production controls that keep later batches consistent with the validated design. A useful QC plan should identify critical-to-quality features, inspection stage, test method, sampling rule and acceptance criteria.
